Description
Mineral-based fertilizer with organic plant-based components, specially formulated for gardens in detached substrates, for both perennial and seasonal cultivation. A unique composition of NPK with added microelements and substances from the KF product line – tested and tried on detached containers and substrates.
Contains all the elements and microelements necessary for plants. In addition, it contains a rich organic blend of algae and plants from nature, which include enzymes, vitamins, amino acids, and many more natural elements that serve as auxiliary systems for mineral absorption, disease prevention, resistance to extreme conditions, healthy roots, rapid and stable growth, and improvement of soil conditions.
Use of the fertilizer is recommended throughout the growth period and ensures optimal growth and blooming.
Adapted for use with tap water (hard water) with values of 0.3-0.4 EC.
Application
Intended for all growing media: soil / coconut coir / hydroponics.

General guidelines for use
Hydroponic system
Fill the container with water, add KF-GARDEN&BALCONY (dosage is 2.5-4.2 ml per 1 liter of water), and mix well. Balance the EC value by starting the growth cycle at value of EC-1.2 when using distilled water, or EC=0.3/0.4 when using tap water. Fertilizer should be used throughout all stages of plant growth and flowering. In hydroponic cultivation, it is recommended to balance the system with sulfuric acid.
Use without conductivity meter:
Add 2.5-4.2 ml of fertilizer per liter of water. It is recommended to replace half of the growth container’s volume once a month and add fertilizer accordingly to the recommended amount.
Dilution using an electrical conductivity meter (EC):
Tap water conductivity + recommended conductivity value for plant type = growth conductivity
recommended conductivity values for different types of cultivation:
green leaves: conductivity 1300-1600µS
vegetables: conductivity 2000-2500µS
combined greens + vegetables (for example: tomato+ hot pepper): conductivity 1800-3200µS
Shake the fertilizer bottle before use. The fertilizer should be added gradually and thoroughly mixed into the solution before measuring conductivity.
It is recommended to check conductivity and adjust the hydroponic solution once every 5 days.
Each crop requires different conductivity and pH levels; hence, it is not recommended to grow different types together in the same solution. It is important to check compatibility beforehand and even then, monitor conductivity and plant development accordingly.
Standard crops:
Winter crops: EC 1,500-2,000
Summer crops: EC 1,800-2,500
If there are both summer and winter crops in the same system, the fertilization schedule of the summer crops should be followed.
Note that Israeli tap water has unique conductivity levels, ranging from EC 50 for desalinated water to EC 700 or more for water pumped by Mekorot (National Water Company of Israel). Therefore, it is recommended to first measure the basic conductivity of your tap water and then add it to the desired conductivity level. For example, if the tap water’s conductivity is EC 250 and we are growing summer crops (EC 1,900-2,500), we shall balance the nutrient solution to obtain EC 2,150-2,450.
pH – acidity
For an optimal crop, it is recommended to balance the acidity (pH) of the hydroponic solution. Most plants will absorb nutrients better in a slightly acidic environment; hence, it is recommended to maintain a constant acidity level of 5.5-6.5.
Note that you should balance acidity only after you have balanced the nutrient levels (EC), since the fertilizer is acidic and will itself lower acidity.
Soilless substrates
2.5-4.2 ml per liter of water.
Container and pot cultivation
Fertilizer pump (hydraulic/electric)
0.2-1% for an average garden and balcony: mix 1 liter in the fertilizer tank and fill the rest with water. The dosage refers to a fertilizer tank that is emptied once a month.
Fertigation for monthly application:
Add 100 ml per liter of water and mix well; then fertigate 150-250 ml to each plant.
Fertigation for saplings/young shrubs:
Add 30 ml to 3-5 liters of water once a month.
Fertigation for mature trees/shrubs:
Add 50-100 ml to 10-20 liters of water once a month.
Fertigation for 80 cm planter:
Add 30 ml to 2.5 liters of water.
Fertigation for 100 cm planter:
Add 50 ml to 3.5 liters of water.
Fertigation for 30/30 flowerpot:
Add 2.5 ml to 1 liter of water.
Fertigation for 60/60 flowerpot:
Add 40 ml to 3 liters of water.
Fertigation for 80/80 flowerpot:
Add 50 ml to 5 liters of water.
Fertigation for greenhouse ornamental plant cultivation :
Add 3 liters of water per 1000 sq/m.
